Free Orange Card Combo Training for Apprentices through CTF and ECA WA

A unique opportunity for WA electrical apprentices
Equip-Safe is excited to announce a new initiative that makes Orange Card Combo training 100% free for eligible apprentices of ECA WA Business Members. Thanks to the Construction Training Fund (CTF) and ECA WA apprentices can now access this essential safety training at no cost.
How The Subsidy Works
70% Subsidy from The Construction Training Fund
CTF is covering 70% of the course fee for all apprentices who enrol in the Orange Card Combo: Scissor, Boom & Work Safely at Heights course.
30% Contribution from ECA WA
If the apprentice is employed by an ECA WA Business Member, ECA WA will fund the remaining 30%.
That means apprentices employed by ECA WA members can complete the Orange Card Combo training for free.
Why Orange Card Combo is Important for WA Apprentices
The Orange Card Combo course is designed to equip apprentices with the skills and knowledge to safely operate:
- Scissor lifts
- Boom lifts (under 11 metres)
- Work safely at heights
These are critical skills for anyone working in the construction, maintenance, or electrical industries. Holding an Orange Card helps apprentices stay safe on the job and boosts their employability across WA.
Who Can Access This Offer?
This initiative is available to:
- Apprentices enrolled in an eligible trade and supported by the Construction Training Fund
- Apprentices employed by an ECA WA Business Member (to receive the full 100% subsidy)
Secure Your Spot
Spaces in the Orange Card Combo course are limited and demand is expected to be high. Apprentices are encouraged to register early to take advantage of this unique opportunity.
